Community Water Access Through Rainwater Harvesting

S M Sehgal Foundation, in partnership with VARUN BEVERAGES LIMITED through its CSR arm hashtag, is implementing a project in Hatti village, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (erstwhile Aurangabad), to improve access to safe drinking water and strengthen local water security. <br>The initiative will directly benefit over 4,300 community members through a set of targeted interventions. These include the construction of two check dams, contour trenches, and 20 recharge wells to replenish groundwater, establishment of a community drinking water station, etc.

  1. Community Water Access Through Rainwater Harvesting S M Sehgal Foundation, in partnership with Varun Beverages Limited through its CSR arm RJ Foundation, is bringing safe drinking water solutions to Hatti Village, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

  2. Strengthening Communities The project will benefit 4,300+ community members by ensuring reliable access to safe drinking water and enhancing local water security.

  3. Sustainable Water Solutions The project will undertake- 2 Check dams Contour trenches for water conservation 20 Recharge wells Community drinking water station Rooftop rainwater harvesting in village school

  4. Securing Water for the Future These efforts will create 26.5 million liters of water storage, replenishing groundwater for generations.
