  1. A Complete Guide to Carpet Flooring Installation A carpet that feels soft and luxurious under your feet expresses a lot about the personality and lifestyle. If you are looking for a new carpet flooring installation ensure that you contact reputed installers and choose the right carpet.

  2. Here are a few tips that should be followed.  Choosing the right carpet type: There are two aspects, the cut, and the fiber. Carpet cut includes plush (or cut) pile, Berber cut pile, Berber loop pile, cut-and-loop pile, and commercial loop. The fibers are wool, coir, and synthetic fiber such as nylon, polyester, and olefin. Formal areas should have plush wool carpets while polyester with flecks of color is suitable for high-traffic areas.

  3. Disposing the existing carpet: Pulling up an old carpet can be difficult with years of dirt and animal hair embedded in them. Installers wear a mask while doing so and carefully remove moldings around the floor and the door before cutting it out. Laying the under-pad: The floor has to be thoroughly cleaned and dried before carpet flooring installation. Next, the old cushion will be removed and replaced with new pads, making a huge difference in the feel and performance of the new carpet.

  4. Installing the new carpet: The carpet pieces must be marginally larger than the room with an overlay of about six inches. Trimming the overlay is tricky and it’s important to cut the carpet correctly. Matching the seams: Most rooms require more than one carpet which should be precisely cut so that the seams match perfectly. A seaming tape is then attached with a seaming iron as otherwise, the seams will not seal fully.  These are the steps followed by professionals for accurate carpet flooring installation.
