Take-Home Messages AQUACOSM is a unique European Research Infrastructure Network of Aquatic Mesocosm facilities It is a joint multidisciplinary effort to establish a European capacity to study biogeochemical and biological processes in controlled and natural aquatic environments Access to 37 mesocosm facilities encompassing freshwater and marine conditions along a geographical and climate gradient from Crete to Svalbard (Spitzbergen) Access to the most prominent European expertise and know-how Support innovation, test, qualification and demonstration of aquatic technology development, and access to market
