2. Introduction Smart Land Scapesd is a full design and build company established in 2005 by Danny Vu. What started out as a hobby working on homes for family and friends eventually became a full-time endeavor. The company has seen tremendous growth since its inception through the power of word of mouth and honest reviews. With a strong engineering background, Danny had many opportunities worth pursuing. He opened Smart Wireless, a telecommunications company in the early 2000s. However, having a passion for landscapes and outdoor living areas, he would often find himself doing projects for family and friends on the side. In 2005, he decided to leave the tech world and focus fully on his true passion. Project after project, Danny grew his team of highly-skilled landscaping professionals. He attributes his company's growth to his belief that each job needed one detail-oriented design lead to empathize with the client and their dream. One point of contact with whom to share their vision from conception to reality. Danny's team has helped numerous families obtain their ideal outdoor living spaces and they can help you too.

3. OUR PROCESS Initial Landscape Consultation Initial consultations are typically done over the phone. We will go over the scope of your project, let you know what it'll take and explain to you how we work. We will discuss what your vision for the project is and budget considerations. From there, we will send out a designer to your property to collaborate on a design.

4. Landscape Design Here at Smart Landscape, we believe that every landscape project needs to start out with a well thought out design. All of our designers hold landscape design degrees and are very knowledgeable in the field. They will come out to your property, do a site survey and really dive in and get to know you, your family, your taste, your style, your budget and much more. From there, they will work with you to design your dream landscape.

5. Landscape Construction Proposal Once the design is done, Our team will work to give you a fair and accurate bid for the project. Everything that is called out on the design will be itemized, line by line for you on the proposal. That way you know exactly where the money is going. You're also welcome to take the design and get bids from other reputable landscape construction companies, but if you decide to go with Smart Landscapesd, we will reimburse you half of the design cost as well as pay the designer to manage the project during construction at no cost to you.

6. Agreement & Scheduling Once all the details are ironed out and we're aligned on the final project, agreements are signed, you deposit the down payment, and your project is calendared. During peak months (April-June), It can take up to 4-6 weeks for construction to begin. If your project changes after the agreement has been signed, the agreement and payments will be adjusted as necessary and new "change orders" will be issued for approval before moving forward.

7. Landscape Construction Before construction, we will call and confirm the dates on our schedule. If there is a delay due to weather, vendor inventory, or other factors, we’ll be sure to discuss and reset expectations. Our construction crews will never abandon someone else’s project to start yours and will never disappear from your project to go work on another. We respect our client’s privacy so when we start a project, we work hard to finish in a timely manner to return that privacy back to our clients.

8. Final Walkthrough Once the project is complete, we will schedule a final walkthrough. During this walkthrough, we will teach you how to care for your new landscape as well as answer any questions you may have.
