  1. ‘Finding the right Law school for you.’ When choosing a law school, one must keep in mind that it is the right fit for you and your admissions. Browsing through the plethora of some of the best law colleges in India can get students confused about which one would be the best fit for them. Here are some of the points that could help students decide on a suitable law school. 1. Knowing where you want to be in terms of the location. Making a list of the places you want to study and practice in, narrowing down to the type of location you want to be in. If you want to be close to your family, be in a city, or a place surrounded by the peace of nature. To know the kind of environment that makes you feel the most comfortable and motivated is as important as knowing about the type of college you want to be a part of. 2. Knowing what you want, in reference to the type of college it is, the teaching and assessment patterns that they follow, to the placement options they provide the students with upon graduation. Having decided on if you want to be part of a public or private university, if you want to study in a liberal arts college or any other, will make the selection process much more guided. 3. Knowing the size and atmosphere of the college, as that is something which also has an impact on the comfort and motivational aspects of student life. Knowing the culture of the university that you would want to graduate from and choosing one that meets your needs and expectations of your college experience also helps narrowing down on the college. 4. Knowing the rankings of the college comes from basic research on the institute you would want to be a part of. Visiting the college website and going through the rankings, accolades and credentials of the university helps the students get a validation on their choice of schools. It also helps them shortlist the top universities to have a strong foundation to head start their career, and adds value to their resume. 5. Knowing what the graduates, alumni, and students of the college have to say, about the courses, teaching methods and the faculty. This gives the students an insider view into the colleges and make sure that it will be the kind of environment that they would enjoy and find productive. 6. And finally finding a university or college that fits into your budget, and making sure that the finances are manageable and justified. Following these steps would make the process of finalizing a law school easier and effective.
