Mr. Jaswant Singh Khalra, a human rights worker, reported that 25000 bodies of the Sikhs, classified as unidentified, were cremated in just three cremation sites in a single district (Amritsar) in just two years. This is in addition to the bodies that were identified and the one’s thrown into the canals.
