  2. Introduction • Tell your audience about your subject • Give background info on … • WHAT it is • Where it is • WHEN it lived, happened, etc. • Why it is a mystery? • HOW do we know about it? Be sure to answer each question but keep it short and sweet! Use up to [5] slides, no more.

Facts Decide if you think the phenomenon is a real mystery or fake [not real]. • Once you decide, put together all of your facts that prove your side – ONE SIDE not both! • Research on the net, in books, watch a TV show, etc. to get information to support your opinion. Record it in your ‘Works Cited’.

Conclusion • Persuade your audience why they should BELIEVE what you believe. • State your opinion • Give three reasons and prove it! • Personal experience • Statistic or fact or figure from your research • Expert opinion or quote • Directly state your belief without saying • “I believe…” • “It is my opinion that…”
