Symptoms: • Short sleep timings • Sleeplessness for long periods of time before sleep • Feeling depressed, anxious, irritable • Waking feeling tired • Waking too early People face a variety of sleep disorders due to their changing sleep habits or patterns, unhealthy lifestyle or diet, changing medications, and much more. If they managed their lifestyle to a good standard the symptoms of insomnia can be minimized. Treatment Insomnia can be treated in both ways i.e. natural therapies and medications such as sleeping pills in UK or other countries. The symptoms of insomnia can be minimized via changing daily lifestyle and activities such as changing sleep habits, reducing intake of alcohol or caffeine, avoiding sugar products and heavy meals before sleep. Many people are prescribed to follow the natural or relaxation therapies with proper sleeping pills in UK or other continents via doctors or pharmacists. The relaxation therapies, natural therapies, CBT and other psychological therapies can be very effective in treating severe sleep disorders. Medications are not the permanent solution to insomnia i.e. they are addictive in nature and have some side- effects if not taken as prescribed. To get better results with least side-effects take the sleeping pills according to the prescription label and leaflet information.
