Deza’ray. My Hearing Journey. Hi, I’m Deza’ray. This is my hearing journey. My first hearing aids. I got to borrow a set of loaner hearing aids so I could hear at school! Everyone was so excited I could finally hear in class!. My loaner hearing aids. At the ear doctor’s office.

  2. Hi, I’m Deza’ray This is my hearing journey.

  3. My first hearing aids I got to borrow a set of loaner hearing aids so I could hear at school! Everyone was so excited I could finally hear in class!

  5. At the ear doctor’s office The day I got my new hearing aids I had an appointment with Dr. Albert, my ENT. He said my eardrums haven’t healed yet—but I do a great job of taking care of them and keeping them clean.

  6. Finally,I get my new hearing aids!! I decided to go with the zebra print hearing aids…and they come with stickers so I can change the design. My ear-molds are purple and blue swirled.

  7. My Educational Audiologist Dr. Carrie Spangler is my Educational Audiologist. She has helped me along my hearing journey. Dr. Carrie has hearing aids too!

  8. I Explored my world with Dr. Carrie While exploring…..I found out that I have the most trouble hearing during floor time (teacher talking and the whole class is sitting on the floor), when people are making noise, and sometimes on the playground…. We are going to work on self advocacy strategies to help me!

  10. This is my class at school Everyone at school was so helpful when I wasn’t able to hear. I’m happy I have such good teachers and friends!
