    1. Gaya Inersia Gaya inersiamerupakangayakelembamanpadasuatuelemenmesin yang sangattergantungpadabesarnyamassa. Semakinbesarmassakomponenmesin, makasemakinbesar pula gayainersianya

    2. Contoh Mekanisme Engkol peluncur , Gambar 1a, diketahui batang 2 berputarmelawanjarumjam sebesar10 radian/detik. Dan θ2= 60°. Massa batang 2 adalah5 kg ; massabatang 3 = 10 kg; danbatang 4 = 4 kg . Momeninersiadaribatang 2 = 0,345 kg-m2; momeninersiadari Batang 3 = 0,454 kg-m2; Momeninersiadaribatang 4 = 0,065 kg-m2. Data-data ukuranbatangadalah O2A = 20cm, AB = 60cm, O2G2 = 14cm, AG3 = 25cm. Tentukanbesarnyagaya-gayaresultandangaya-gayainersia padamasing-masingbatang, akibatputaranbatang 2 yang konstan tersebut.
