The family

This webquest introduces students to the importance of family in their lives. Through vocabulary exercises and creative activities, students will learn English terms related to family. They will create a family tree as a homework assignment, showcasing names and relationships, such as "My mother is: ________." In class, students will engage in discussions and write sentences using family vocabulary. Evaluation includes presenting the family tree and writing a paragraph highlighting what they appreciate about each family member. This project nurtures language skills and personal connections.

  2. Introduction • The family is a group very important for the people. Today we know the names in English, we sang and we play, we learn with the family. This webquest will do in two class.

  3. Homework with your parents do a family tree. Where you put the family´s names for example, the following kind: • My mother is:_________ Photo

  4. Process • First in class we study the family´s vocabulary, how does it write? How does it say?, and we do a sentence using this vocabulary. This activity do with the following pages: • http://www.saberingles.com.ar/lists/family.html

  5. Evaluation • you have to show your family tree, in front of your classmetes. • You do a paragraph where, you write a beautiful thing about each person of your family

  6. Conclusion • THE FAMILY IS A TOPIC, THAT EVERY STUDENT HAS IN YOUR LIFE. SO, IT IS GOOD TO KNOW ABOUT THE FAMILY IN ENGLISH.
