That day at the orthodontist…. She was told she needed surgery. The Cyclops watched her, looking for her weakness. It sounded serious, and she could only trust Athena to calm her. On that day of her surgery, she was in the waiting room, impatient and nervous.

  2. She was told she needed surgery

  3. The Cyclops watched her, looking for her weakness

  4. It sounded serious, and she could only trust Athena to calm her

  5. On that day of her surgery, she was in the waiting room, impatient and nervous

  6. Ready for Poseidon to launch tears down her cheeks, she held her face in her hands

  7. The surgeon came in and told her they were ready to start the procedure

  8. The Lotus Eaters were tempting her to turn around and run

  9. Even though she wanted to run, she knew she had no choice but to go through with the surgery

  10. She walked in, and saw very sharp tools and many people in black doctor uniforms

  11. After she received laughing gas, an anesthesiologist shoved a needle into her arm

  12. She wanted to scream of the pain of the needle; Zeus had to be against her

  13. Before she knew it, she was awake, as if it had all been a bad dream

  14. The nurse, told her it had all gone over well, but to stay awake

  15. The girl was taken to her family, and she knew that she was safe

  16. She realized one of her fearful journeys in life was over
