  3. National P2 Results Task Force • Purpose: develop a national measurement framework to capture environmental & economic outcomes from the implementation of P2 • Joint Project: NPPR & P2Rx • Task Force members: Broad geographic representation of state P2 programs • NEWMOA & PPRC Co-Chairs

  4. National P2 Results System Purpose: • demonstrate that publicly-supported P2 programs deliver value for their clients, the public, & taxpayers • help policy makers assess P2 & understand what works as they set priorities, goals, & objectives • help government agencies & others evaluate progress toward goals • help P2 programs continually improve

Status & Next Steps • EPA recently committed funding to support development of National P2 Results System • NEWMOA will implement web-based aggregation tool on its website over the upcoming year • NEWMOA will work on linking Web-based aggregation w/NEWMOA desk top system • Promote Memorandum of Understanding

  13. NEWMOA Desk Top Data Management Tool Current Status— • Access-based system • Includes boiler plate outcome reports • Robust-comprehensive system designed to be tailored & customized by individual programs • Data dictionary & Users Manual • Available from NEWMOA free –jgriffith@newmoa.org

Online Regional Data Aggregation Tool • Based on initiative by PPRC • Will be implemented for the Northeast States in the next year • Will be customized for the Northeast • Provides method for regional data aggregation & summarization • Roll up of data from all regional centers for national data
