  13. Limitations We are extremely limited in facilities for youth suffering from addictions We lack out of town placements for children who need to be away from the dangers of the city We lack secure facilities for our most vulnerable, at risk youth

  14. Resources before, during, after The WPS often deals with families, and care givers lending advise in the hopes of preventing a child from going missing. Some of the resources offered are: School Resource Officers, Mobile Crisis, MissingKids.ca These resources as well as the previously mentioned partners are always provided to families, and caregivers

  15. Speaking from Experience Our Counter Exploitation team recently arrested a 15 year old female who is actively exploited Our team asked her what she truly wanted and needed. Her response: A Family, Stability This female has been in the CFS system for many years and wants to be placed with a family outside of Winnipeg Our team is committed to working with CFS to make this happen and give this young girl a chance at a better life.
