  3. ATC 2012 Programme • ATC Annual Fee Price Increase - 4.5% • ATC Packs will now only include: • ATC Certification for the year • Posters (A4) • Educational CD • ATC’s need 25 x Manual purchases per year • No Alliance Partner ATC Programme from 2012 Heading 1 (Arial bold - point size 22)

CSP 2012 Programme • Cost to the School • No CSP joining fee • No yearly training of teacher’s fee • Cost to the Learner • A first year (Grade 10) CSP joining fee of: R 250 (including VAT) • Yearly subscription fee (for Grade 11 & 12) of: R 150 (Including VAT) • Total Cost: R 550. Training of Lecturers • All Pastel ATC’s are required to use only Pastel PCI and • PCT qualified trainers for their Pastel training. • All Pastel trainers need to ensure that they always have the • latest Pastel PCI Product qualification. • Pastel trainers will need to successfully complete the required Pastel training courses per product with Pastel in order to teach the training courses. • The Pastel PCI training that a Pastel trainer must also attend per product the Pastel ATC chooses to train is as follows: • ATC’s wishing to offer training on Pastel Add-On-Modules must complete the relevant Pastel training and assessments prior to advertising these courses. ATC & CSP 2012 Renewals • Payment and Accepting of ATC Contracts: • 31st December 2011 • Proforma Invoices will be sent in November 2011 • ATC’s need to please send proof of payment • Once received, Pastel will unlock the option to accept your contract on the ATC Zone • Both ATC’s and CSP’s need to accept their contracts on the ATC Zone • Only once contract has been accepted will Pastel send you your ATC packs • No late payments will be accepted and No payment terms will be accepted • All ATC’s & CSP’s that do not make payment and accept their contract will be automatically terminated as from the 1st January 2012 • If not renewing – please let Pastel know before the 1st November 2012 Heading 1 (Arial bold - point size 22)

Important information when accepting your ATC & CSP 2012 contract • Update your companies details in the ATC Zone • Please ensure that email addresses are correct as this is Pastel’s main communication • Please do this each time their are changes to your company Heading 1 (Arial bold - point size 22)

  11. Training of Lecturers •  A Pastel trainers need to always keep their PCI accreditation up to date with the latest product version of Pastel. They can attend the Pastel Bridging courses provided that your accreditation is always on the previous version. • Pastel trainers would also need to attend the Pastel PCT course. Any trainers, who have the Train the Trainer certification or a teaching certificate may be exempted from the PCT course, provided they produce a copy of the certificate with the ATC application form. • Details of the Pastel Trainer must be included in the ATC application form and must be kept updated. The Pastel Trainer may be full or part-time trainers, employed or on contract. • When applying for a Pastel ATC status for the first time, the training centre needs to ensure that all trainers must have completed the required training courses and passed the assessments prior to teaching any classes. Training of Lecturers • If an ATC does not have a qualified up to date PCI and PCT linked to their account, their referral system will not be active. • Should you be renewing your Pastel ATC status or still fulfilling your annual ATC contract and Pastel releases a new product version, Pastel Certified Trainers are required to successfully complete a refresher / bridging course to update their certification to the next product version. • During your ATC contract with Pastel, should any of your Pastel trainers leave and you appoint new Pastel trainers, these trainers would need to successfully complete the required Pastel training courses per product. • Please note: • All Pastel ATC’s have a maximum of 3 months to up skill their Pastel trainers on joining or renewing their ATC contract or when Pastel launches a new product version. • Failure to adhere to any of the certification requirements requested will results in immediate termination Heading 1 (Arial bold - point size 22)

  13. New Pricing for Training Material & Assessments • Our annual price increase for our training material, assessments and Pastel courses will take effect from the 1st October 2011 (financial year end) • We will be sending the new pricing at the end of August 2011 Heading 1 (Arial bold - point size 22)

  14. Marketing your ATC and Marketing rebates • It must always be made clear to customers that you are training and promoting Pastel courses in your capacity as a Pastel Authorised Training Centre. This should include clear notification of your business name, trading address and logo as well as the fact that you are a Pastel Authorised Training Centre. • It must be made clear to customers that they are entering into a contract with you as an independent contractor and not any member of the Softline group of companies and that you are not authorised to act on Pastel’s behalf. • In addition, your company/business name, registered number (if applicable) and registered/main office address must appear on all note paper, purchase orders, invoices, marketing materials, sales brochures, websites and other public facing material used by you in relation to Pastel products and services.   15. Marketing your ATC and Marketing rebates • Softline Pastel will pay Pastel ATC rebates for: • Print media – provided the adverts appear in an appropriate industry related magazine/ newspaper (excluding telephone directories). • Street pole adverts – provided that the artwork for the adverts is approved by Pastel Accounting and that the appropriate box shots and ATC logos are used in the artwork. • Vehicle signage - provided that the artwork for the adverts is approved by Pastel Accounting and that the appropriate box shots and ATC logos are used in the artwork.   16. Marketing your ATC and Marketing rebates • Softline Pastel will not pay Pastel ATC rebates for: • Billboards • Stationery • Business location signage • Banners • Posters • Websites • Advertorial • Telephone directories • Radio advertising • Golf days Heading 1 (Arial bold - point size 22)

Marketing your ATC and Marketing rebates • Softline Pastel will not contribute towards production, design, litho positives or any other secondary costs incurred in producing an advert. • An advertising rebate will not be considered unless the Pastel Marketing Department have approved your advert prior to production or the event taking place. Marketing your ATC and Marketing rebates • How your marketing rebate is calculated • Once your advert/vehicle signage has been approved by the Pastel Marketing department, a refund in the form of a credit note will be passed in the following quarter. • ATCs: Softline Pastel will contribute 25% of your total advertising cost, provided the rebate amount does not exceed R3000 per quarter. This rebate will only apply if Softline Pastel courses are advertised without any other courses. • ATC Rebates MAY NOT be accrued nor accumulated from quarter to quarter.   19. Marketing your ATC and Marketing rebates • Marketing rebate conditions • The rebate will be paid subject to the following conditions: • The ATC must abide by Softline Pastel’s Marketing Guidelines. • Correct use of the logos and branding must be applied. • You must obtain prior written approval from the Softline Pastel Marketing team. • Claims will only be rebated if customer’s accounts are not overdue. • What to include when claiming a marketing rebate •  A copy of the advert as it appeared in the publication, or photos of your vehicle branding. • A copy of the invoice from the relevant supplier. • A copy of your payment to the supplier.   22. Last Quarter ATC Competition • ATC Last Quarter Competition will run for 3 months, from 1 July - 30 September 2011 • All ATCs have been automatically entered into this competition. The ATC that reaches its target (as set out below) will qualify to stand the chance of winning the prize up for grabs • To even the playing field, we have created 5 categories, all with different criteria: • University ATCs: 350+ Pastel Assessments • FET ATCs: 150+ new Pastel FET / College Manuals with Assessment which will include your branding • Private ATCs: 150+ Pastel Training Manuals with Assessment • Alliance ATCs: R20 000+ in Pastel Training Material, Assessments and Marketing Material • Onsite ATCs: R15 000+ in Pastel Training Material, Assessments and Marketing Material Heading 1 (Arial bold - point size 22)
