Child Care workers are one of the most unvalued, yet most crucial jobs in Australia! This industry is fastest-developing and easily available to somebody with a Certificate III or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. How to become a childcare worker? Childcare workers in Australia need to have a Certificate III in Early Childhood Care and/or Children’s Services, including a mandatory 120 hours of work placement. You’ll also require a clean background check, and to keep any associated first-aid training for the situation you’ll be working in. Get Qualified The level of qualification you hold will allow you to work in different backgrounds or develop into more senior positions. Qualifications are put together, so you can start with a Certificate III.
