  1. Bangalore is known as the IT captital of India. Though people often visit this place for business trips, it is also known for its green spaces and night life and the climate in Bangalore is pleasant throughout the year. So here is the list of 5 of the must visit tourist destinations in Bangalore.

  2. Tipu Sultan Summer Palace • Tipu Sultan Summer Palace or Fort is situated in the vicinity of the crowded KR market. The fort and the palace are a perfect example for the artistic talent which prevailed during the past. • This palace that served as a summer retreat for Tipu Sultan, is a two storied building. It also comprises of a Hindu temple-temple of Lord Ganesha which greatly signifies the rulers religious tolerance. If historical monuments are of your interest then you will be amazed to see the art gallery in the fort, which consists of carvings, and historical paintings representing Islamic style.

  3. Lal Bagh Botanical Garden • In India, Lal Bagh Botanical Garden is among the most refreshing and beautiful gardens. It was also initiated by Haider Ali; the construction was later completed by his son- Tipu Sultan. • The garden comprises of a Glass House which is supposedly inspired from the London Crystal Palace. The gardens are home to about 1800 species of plants, trees and herbs which are spread across about 240 acres of land. The garden also has a lawn clock which basically is the first of its kind in our country.

  4. Cubbon Park • The Cubbon Park is an amazing place to relax and laze around. The Cubbon Park covers 300 acres and is a treasure to many different species of exotic plants. • Cubbon Park also comprises of a library, an aquarium- with exotic fishes, a toy train-for kids and a tennis academy. One will be mesmerized by the sight the park in the evening as well-when the lights are on.

  5. Bangalore Palace • Bangalore Palace is located in the Palace Gardens, in the heart of Bangalore city. • It was built in the year 1887 by Chamaraja Wodeyar. The Palace being inspired from the Windsor Castle of London comprises of woodcarvings and Tudor-style architecture with Gothic windows and turrets. It has resemblance to the medieval castles which were built in England.

  6. Attara Kacheri • Attara Kacheri is a building that situated in Bangalore and it is home to the High Court and many other lower courts. It is also referred as the High Court building. • Vidhana Soudha is situated opposite to Attara Kacheri. The building comprises of two stories. It was built during the reign of Tipu Sultan. It was constructed to house the offices as the palace did not have sufficient space for the offices. So a new building was constructed with the name Attara Kacheri- which means eighteen offices. There are various notable buildings around Attara Kacheri like Technological Museum, Public Library, Government Museum and Venkatappa Art Gallery.
