  3. So the little old lady chased the gingerbread man down the lane until he came to a horse.

  4. “Stop, stop!” cried the horse. But the gingerbread man said “Run, run as fast as you can you can’t catch me I’m the Gingerbread Man.”

  5. So the little old lady and the horse chased the gingerbread man down the lane until he came to a cow.

  6. “Stop, stop!” cried the cow. But the gingerbread man said “Run, run as fast as you can you can’t catch me I’m the Gingerbread Man.”

  7. So the little old lady, the horse and the cow chased the gingerbread man down the lane until he came to a pig.

  8. “Stop, stop!” cried the pig. But the gingerbread man said “Run, run as fast as you can you can’t catch me I’m the Gingerbread Man.”

  9. So the little old lady, the horse, the cow and the pig chased the gingerbread man down the lane until he came to a sleepy cat.

  10. “Stop, stop!” cried the sleepy cat. But the gingerbread man said “Run, run as fast as you can you can’t catch me I’m the Gingerbread Man.”

  11. So the little old lady, the horse, the cow, the pig and the sleepy cat chased the gingerbread man down the lane until he came to a river.

  12. There the gingerbread man met a fox, a lean fox, a mean fox.

  13. “Help, help me cross the river!” shouted the gingerbread man.

  14. “Quick, quick! Climb onto my tail” said the fox.

  15. So the gingerbread man climbed onto the fox’s tail.

  16. “Oh no my feet are getting all wet!” moaned the gingerbread man.

  17. “Quick, quick! Climb onto my back” said the fox.

  18. So the gingerbread man climbed onto the fox’s back.

  19. “Oh no my legs are getting all wet!” moaned the gingerbread man.

  20. “Quick, quick! Climb onto my head” said the fox.

  21. So the gingerbread man climbed onto the fox’s head.

  22. “Oh no my head is getting wet!” moaned the gingerbread man.

  23. “Quick, quick! Climb onto my nose” said the fox.

  24. So the gingerbread man climbed onto the fox’s nose.

  25. Unfortunately, the fox ate him up with one, big gulp!
