  1. How to use Azure DevOps Server? Azure DevOps is a product of Microsoft based on cloud technology. Cloud computing offers Saas (Software as a service) that affects the software development process. Azure DevOps Server is a combination of development tools that are hosted on-premises. It integrates the existing IDE (Integrated Development Environment) or editor that enables the cross-operating/functional team within an organization to work on different size projects. It allows integrating custom tools or any third-party tool with the help of Azure DevOps Server applying standards like REST API and OAuth 2.0. Learning Azure DevOps can boost anyone’s cloud computing career. To learn this technology one can opt for Azure DevOps Online Training through various online platforms. There are different tools of DevOps such as Jenkins, Selenium, vagrant, Ansible, etc. that unite the process with DevOps. But in Azure DevOps, it gives the service benefits of all the tools within a single platform. Difference between Azure DevOps Sevices and Server: Azure DevOps has two options. 1) Azure DevOps Service 2) Azure DevOps Server Here we see the differences between Azure DevOps Services and Server. ⮚Azure DevOps Services offers cloud services whereas Azure DevOps server is an on-premise process. ⮚In Azure DevOps Service, a public network connection is not available. But in Azure DevOps Server intranet/public network connection is available. ⮚Azure DevOps Service provides two methods of data scaling and scoping such as; projects and organizations. Wherein Azure DevOps Server provides three methods such as; Projects, project collections, and implementation. ⮚In Azure DevOps Service free access is given to each user, but in Azure DevOps Server access can be granted on a license basis. Here premium versions need to purchase.

  2. CloudDevelopments: Today every large scale business is using cloud service for huge data maintenance. It ensures the security of data and easy storage without any extra cost. Azure DevOps offers the latest updated version with cloud capabilities. This makes the users work on a self-host basis in the cloud version which offers different MS hosted services. It helps to get benefits of current updates and the automation. Azure DevOps Server on-premise Azure DevOps server offers an on-premise version that is built on SQL Server. The enterprises generally choose the on-premise version of Azure DevOps to maintain data on their own network. Even if they want to access the SQL server for reporting services that integrate Azure DevOps tools, the on-premise server will be helpful. There are different versions of Azure DevOps Server on-premise. These versions always update according to the need of business or the market competitions. Azure DevOps Server Express

  3. Azure DevOps server express is a free version available for small groups and individuals at no cost. It can be easily installed on any PC or laptop without the need for any server. When the team or group increases within the organization, it needs to get updated to the Azure DevOps Server. How does Azure DevOps Server help? Azure DevOps server is the upgraded version of TFS (Team Foundation Server). This version of Azure DevOps provides access to all the services that are offered such as Agile Boards, Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts, and Tests. Each of these services used to work freely and without disruptions to integrate different products and tools. Azure DevOps adds different features to its products every year that makes it more robust to work. Azure DevOps server tends to improve the overall efficiency of the developers and the team. Thus, it can be said that the Azure DevOps server has no competition in this regard. Azure DevOps Server pricing There are different types of plans in the Azure DevOps server. Each plan serves different pricing solutions. The different pricing options are such as; Azure Boards, Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos, Azure Test Plans, and Azure Artifacts. Each plan has a different pricing range. Depending upon the plan and project the price fluctuates. Azure DevOps also provides some free trial services for small projects. These prices may change according to market variations. Thus, the above article gives an overall idea about how to use Azure DevOps Server and its various versions, components, and how it will help etc. It’s a platform derived from Microsoft that provides DevOps tools with the latest changes to develop and implement software. It also integrates different leading tools available in the market. MS Azure DevOps Server Express is the updated free version build for a small team of developers. It is easy to install on computing devices (PC or Laptop) without the help of a dedicated server.

  4. I hope this article will be helpful for the software enthusiasts who want to learn Azure DevOps and its latest versions. This learning will help the software developers, system admins and the students to develop skills in software development.
