  4. Main ACTIVITY Organizing a sports tournament for children in Latvia and Bulgaria

  5. Objectives • Engage orphans in sport activities • Promote healthier living • Have fun

  6. Expected results • Engaging children’s interest • Awareness on healthy ways of spending your time • Opportunity to discover your talents • Usefully spent time • Making new contacts and friends

  7. Budget • Representative materials – 600 euro • Sports Equipment – 1000 euro • Transport costs – 1000 euro • Technical support – 2000 euro • TOTAL : 4600 euro

  8. Activity 2 • Attracting media attention, advertising, setting up Facebook page • Facebook (response, reports, likes) • Web blog • Local media (tv radio newspaper)

  9. Objectives • Raising people’s awareness on the event • Attracting media attention to support the event • Attracting sponsorship for future events of this kind

  10. Expected Results • More people attend the event • Sponsorship support the event • People with addictions abandon their problem and take part in the sports day • People from foster homes explore new challenges

  11. PR Budget • TV, newspaper and radio commercials - 250 euro • Setting up a Facebook page – 0 euros • Setting up a web blog – 0 euros • TOTAL: 250 euro

  12. Sports available for everyone • Popular team sports • Untraditional sports • Individual • -Soccer • -Frisbee • -Badminton • -Obstacle course • -Archery

  13. Outcomes • A play day for everyone • Breaking the barrier between orphans and children with families • Engaging people with addictions with new activities • Long-term commitment • Putting a smile on a child’s face 
