Objectives • Assess the strengths and assets inherent in the current curriculum • Identify gaps and opportunities for improvement • Engage key stakeholders in curriculum planning • Recommend specific curriculum directions
Methods • Environmental scan • Core competencies set • Alumni survey • Key informant interviews
Results/ Conclusions • Based on these findings, recommendations for curriculum revision were developed that included: • retention of disciplinary specialties, • development of a set of core competencies, • development of interdisciplinary learning opportunities and • strengthening of qualitative and quantitative methods offerings. • The survey and interview tools established provide the framework for ongoing evaluation and transformation of the DLSPH MPH program.
