  2. Many European immigrants came to the U.S. and needed a job … a common one was working on the transcontinental rail road.

  3. A majority of European immigrants came to the U.S. by a steam ship such as the one pictured below.

  4. When European immigrants came they had to have an expectation at Ellis island to make sure they do not have any dangerous weapons.

  5. The picture below is Ellis island. European immigrants had to come here when coming to the U.S.. If you look closely you can see the steam ships that were used to arrive here.
