  2. Animal’s body Alligators have really cool bodies . Alligators grow 12 inches a year. Their scales are blackish on their back and sides . Their jaws are powerful muscles that snap their food shut.

  3. HABITAT Alligator habitats are cool. Alligators only live in the United States. They live on edges of lakes, swamps and rivers .They choose a shady spot close to water and high enough so it will not flood .

  4. HABITS Alligators have big appetites. Alligators like to eat fish , small animals and birds When they get too hot they cannot cool themselves off like you can , so they open their mouths to let the heat out, Females have to choose a male, The male strokes their back and blows bubbles.

  5. INTERESTING FACT The most interesting fact about alligators are that their blackish scales protect them from their enemies. Their scales camouflage them so they can hide in bushes .that is why they are still alive today.
