ORGANOS DE GOBIERNO MUNICIPAL SIMÓN CONTRERAS C.I. 26.584.631 EL MUNICIPIO ES LA ENTIDAD LOCAL MENOR DE MAYOR IMPORTANCIA, SU GOBIERNO Y ADMINISTRACIÓN CORRESPONDEN A LOS AYUNTAMIENTOS, INTEGRADOS POR LOS ALCALDES Y CONCEJALES • EL PODER PÚBLICO MUNICIPAL SE EJERCE A TRAVÉS DE CUATRO FUNCIONES: • ALCALDE. • CONCEJAL. • CONTROL FISCAL. • CONTRALORÍA MUNICIPAL ESTÁ COMPUESTO POR: EL ALCALDE: ES LA PRIMERA AUTORIDAD DEL MUNICIPIO, LE CORRESPONDE EL GOBIERNO Y LA ADMINISTRACIÓN EL AYUNTAMIENTO PLENO: FORMADO POR EL ALCALDE Y LOS CONCEJALES, ESTOS EJERCEN EL CONTROL Y LA FISCALIZACIÓN DE LOS ÓRGANOS DE GOBIERNO LA COMISIÓN DE GOBIERNO: ESTÁ INTEGRADA POR EL ALCALDE Y UN NÚMERO DE CONCEJALES NO SUPERIOR AL TERCIO DEL TOTAL DE ESTOS. SUS FUNCIONES SON LAS DE ASISTENCIA AL ALCALDE EN EL EJERCICIO DE SUS ATRIBUCIONES.
