Mortgage– (It is Credit) a legal document giving the lender a claim against the property if the principal, interest, or both are not paid as agreed.
  3. Real Estate Assistance in Purchasing a Home Real Estate Agent Licensed professional to help with the buying and selling of real estate. Lawyer Guards you against any legal issues or claims against the property. Appraiser Estimates the value of the property
  4. Real Estate Equity The difference between the price at which you could currently sell your home and the remaining amount owed on the mortgage. Appreciation– an increase in the value of the property. The value of the property is determined by an appraiser. Costs will include: Property Taxes, Interest, Insurance, and Maintenance.
  5. Other Investments Commodities Include grain, livestock, and precious metals traded on an exchange. (ex. Chicago Board of Trade) Collectables Items of personal interest to collectors.
