  5. Short Rationale • Bring to the fore the various experiences of model builders in emerging economies • Discuss modeling implications of characteristics of emerging market economies • Evaluate forecasting and simulation performance of models under EME conditions

Call for Papers • We are inviting researchers from central banks and other policy-making institutions to participate and present papers. • We welcome paper proposals based on the proposed theme policy - oriented research are specially encouraged. • The 2010 Workshop will be held in Manila, Philippines in October 2010.

Sponsor • The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas as the sponsor will shoulder the venue, meals (lunch and snacks during the workshop) and day tour. • We regret that we are unable to provide financial support for travel, accommodation and other incidental expenses. • All other conference costs are covered by the BSP and no fees are to be charged to participants.
