  2. O Parque Nacional de Yellowstone É um parque nacional norte-americano localizado nos estados de Wyoming, Montana e Idaho. É o mais antigo parque nacional no mundo.,foi inaugurado a 1 de março de 1872 e cobre uma área de 8.980 km². Existem muitos locais com atividade geotermal incluindo 10 000 fontes geotermais e 300 gêiseres cerca de 62% do total existente em todo o planeta Yellowstone National Park is the centerpiece of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, the largest intact ecosystem in the Earth's northern temperate zone. Yellowstone became the world's first national park on March 1, 1872.Located mostly in the U.S. state of Wyoming, Montana and Idaho. There are 300 geysers in Yellowstone and a total of at least 10,000 geothermal features altogether. Half the geothermal features and two-thirds of the world's geysers are concentrated in Yellowstone.
