The New currency note of ₹2000 & ₹500 has Several New Security Features. The RBI has tried to make it the fake proof. The design of new ₹2000 note is different with the existing Currency Notes.

  1. Security Features on ₹ 500 & ₹ 2,000 Notes !!ABOUT!! In the Aftermath of Government Demonetizing ₹500 and ₹1,000 Notes, Cash Management Agencies have started a major exercise that may see ₹40,000 croreworth of notes being shifted around in over 2.2 lakh ATMs and hope to normalize operations for the Public in two weeks. Although promised, the new ₹500 notes were not put into circulation in the National Capital. But those who got the Magenta-Colored new ₹2,000 notes with a Mangalyaan imprint on the reverse felt elated and posted their picture along with the Currency on social media. As people line up in long queues outside Banks and ATMs everywhere, for the people who have received the New Currency Notes, here is a list of Security Measures that have been taken to avoid Counterfeiting:
