Behold, the LORD rides on a swift cloud, And will come into Egypt; The idols of Egypt will totter at His presence, And the heart of Egypt will melt in its midst. HAS THE LORD DONE THIS IN THE PAST? WHEN? READ: EXODUS 12:12 12 I will pass through the land of Egypt on that night, and will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD. READ: JOSHUA 2:10-11 10 We have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Red Sea for you when you came out of Egypt, and what you did to the two kings of the Amorites who were on the other side of the Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom you utterly destroyed. 11 As soon as we heard these things, our hearts melted; neither did there remain any more courage in anyone because of you, for the LORD your God, He is God in heaven above and on earth beneath. READ: 2 CHRONICLES 15:3-6 3 For a long time Israel has been without the true God, without a teaching priest, and without law; 4 But when in their trouble they turned to the LORD God of Israel, and sought Him, He was found by them. 5 In those times there was no peace to the one who went out, nor to the one who came in, but great turmoil was on all the inhabitants of the lands. 6 Nation was destroyed by nation, and city by city, for God troubled them with every adversity. NKJV READ: LEVITICUS 20:6-7 6 The person who turns to mediums and familiar spirits, to prostitute himself with them, I will set My face against that person and cut him off from his people. NKJV

READ: DANIEL 2:1-3 1 In the second year of Nebuchadnezzar's reign, Nebuchadnezzar had dreams; and his spirit was so troubled that his sleep left him. 2 The king gave the command to call the magicians, the astrologers, the sorcerers, and the Chaldeansto tell the king his dreams. So they came and stood before the king. 3 The king said to them, “I have had a dream, and my spirit is anxious to know the dream.” NKJV

READ: DANIEL 5:5-9 5 In the same hour the fingers of a man's hand appeared and wrote opposite the lamp stand on the plaster of the wall of the king's palace; and the king saw the part of the hand that wrote. 6 The king's countenance changed and his thoughts troubled him, so that the joints of his hips were loosened and his knees knocked against each other. 7 The king cried aloud to bring inthe astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers. The king spoke, saying to the wise men of Babylon, “Whoever reads this writing, and tells me its interpretation, shall be clothed with purple and have a chain of gold around his neck; and he shall be the third ruler in the kingdom.” 8 All the king's wise men came, but they could not read the writing, or make known to the king its interpretation. READ: JEREMIAH 46:25-26 25 The LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, says: “Behold, I will bring punishment on Amon of No, and Pharaoh and Egypt, with their gods and their kings — Pharaoh and those who trust in him.” 26 “I will deliver them into the hand of those who seek their lives, into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and the hand of his servants. Afterward it shall be inhabited as in the days of old,” says the LORD. NKJV

They shall plunder the pomp of Egypt And all its multitude shall be destroyed.” 13 “I will destroy all its animals From beside its great waters; The foot of man shall muddy them no more Nor shall the hooves of animals muddy them.” 14 “Then I will make their waters clear And make their rivers run like oil,” Says the Lord GOD. 15 “When I make the land of Egypt desolate And the country is destitute of all that once filled it, When I strike all who dwell in it, Then they shall know that I am the LORD.” NKJV

READ: NUMBERS 11:5-6 5 We remember the fish which we ate freely in Egypt, the cucumbers, the melons, the leeks, the onions, and the garlic; 6 But now our whole being is dried up; there is nothing at all except this manna before our eyes! And the rod which was turned to a serpent you shall take in your hand.” 16 “You shall say to him, The LORD God of the Hebrews has sent me to you, saying, ‘Let My people go that they may serve Me in the wilderness; But indeed, until now you would not hear!’” 17 Thus says the LORD: ‘By this you shall know that I am the LORD. ‘Behold, I will strike the waters which are in the river with the rod that is in my hand and they shall be turned to blood.’” 18 “The fish that are in the river shall die, and the river shall stink. The Egyptians will loathe to drink the water of the river.” NKJV

READ: GENESIS 13:10 10 Lot lifted his eyes and saw all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered everywhere (before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah) like the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt as you go toward Zoar. READ: DEUTERONOMY 11:10-12 10 The land which you go to possess is not like the land of Egypt from which you have come where you sowed your seed and watered it by foot, as a vegetable garden; 11 The land which you cross over to possess is a land of hills and valleys, which drinks water from the rain of heaven, 12 A land for which the LORD your God cares; the eyes of the LORD your God are always on it, from the beginning of the year to the very end of the year. HOW DID THE LORD BLESS THE FISHERMEN? READ: EZEKIEL 47:8-10 8 He said to me: “This water flows toward the eastern region, goes down into the valley and enters the sea. When it reaches the sea, its waters are healed.” 9 “It shall be that every living thing that moves, wherever the rivers go, will live. There will be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters go there. They will be healed and everything will live wherever the river goes.” 10 “It shall be that fishermen will stand by it from En Gedi to En Eglaim. They will be places for spreading their nets. Their fish will be of the same kinds as the fish of the Great Sea, exceedingly many.”
