  2. Place of birth Nazariy Yaremchuk was a well known Ukrainian singer, born on the 30th of October, 1951 in the village of Rivnya, Chernivtsi oblast

  3. Education • 1963, he finished the VyzhnytsiaSecondary school no.1. • an unsuccessful attempt to enter the Geographical faculty of the Chernivtsi university • In 1970 Nazariy is accepted into the Geographical faculty of the Chernicvtsi University. • 1988,Graduated from the Institute of Culture

  4. His Singing Carrer • His ability to sing was noticed by the Manager of the vocal-instrumental ensemble Smerichka. • In autumn 1963 Nazariy began to sing in Smerichka along with also well known singer Sofia Rotaru.

  5. “Song of 71” • 1971-72 “Chervona Ruta” achieved popularity for “Smerichka”giving them performances in all union

  6. Sorrows • A terrible tragedy happened when Nazariy’s mother, Maria Dariyivna, died • In memory to his late mother and father the singer wrote songs “Chuyesh Mamo” and “Batko I Maty”

  7. What’s this life… • In 1975 Nazariy graduated from the Chernivtsi University and began working as an engineer • Later he moves to a creative philharmonic group of Levko Dutkivsky, Volodymyr Ivasiuk and Vasyl Zinkevych

  8. It’s my duty • The year 1986, In Chernobyl hell his voice sounded three times. • The singer visited the 30 km contaminated zone to perform in front of the brave men and women who worked to stabilise the situation. • Besides Chernobyl he was in Afghanistan

  9. 1972, the regional Komsomol Priz named after K.Halkin 1982, Republic Prize named after M. Ostrovsky In 1978 Nazariy receives the title of Deserving Singer of Ukraine 1978, he is awarded the order of Friendship of Nations In 1987, Nazariy got the title of People’s artist of Ukraine Awards

  10. In 1991 1993 after the collapse of the USSR, we was able to travel to Canada, USA and Brazil, in many countries of the world people wanted to hear his songs There are many worshipers of his talant in Romania,Moldova, Slovakia, Germany,Laos Tours

  11. The Illness • In 1995, Nazariy travels to Canada for medical treatment The disease was incurable, the operation did not help. Feeling that he is dieing, Nazariy returned to Ukraine to finish singing his last songs

  12. Rodyna,Rodyna… 1996, Nazariy was awarded the State prize named after Taras Shevchenko posthumously
