Snow Shading – Plant Management • Objective: • Reduce phosphorus levels in the lake by minimizing the growth of curlyleaf pondweed by on-ice snow shading. • Help achieve a balanced native plant population • Short-Term Goal 5 • work to reduce phosphorus loading in the lakes • Long-Term Goal 3 • Preserve vegetation and habitat important to fish, waterfowl, and other wildlife
