  4. JOBS • Animal’s such as dog’s have jobs. The picture on top is a dog doing agility, the picture below is a police dog. Dogs are used for a lot of things like helping or herding. Agility is mainly competition.

  5. JOBS • There are many other jobs for dogs. One picture is a dog herding sheep, the other is digging for someone in an avalanche. If you are going to train your dog to do these it would be best to do it when it is a pup. About 8 months of age would be just right.

  6. STRAY PETS • Look at this. Animals are suffering all over the world from diseases. This is usually because of pet over population. Some people really want a pet but they do not know what kind of responsibilities they are heading into. Once they get the pet they wont have the time and money to care for their pets. That is why they wound up on the streets. Did you know each year about 6-8 million animals enter shelters in the U.S but only half of them,3-4 million will find a home.

  7. PET OWNERSHIP • Pets are a very big responsibilities you should always think twice about getting a pet. First think of were you are going to get your pet and know lots about the store. The best place to get your pet would be the S.P.C.A or a rescue shelter. Then you should think of all the supply’s you will need water, food, treats, crate, toys, and a hole bunch of love. Next you definitely have to take your pet to the vet to make sure it is healthy and safe. You should also get your pet spayed or neutered from preventing TO MANY PETS!!!

  8. Cats, the predator pose will look like this the ears will be forward the cat will be low to the ground with its muscles tensed it may shift its weight between its back feet, getting ready to pounce. Dogs, the passive submission pose will look like this he will be on his back with his belly exposed with his tail tuck, release of urine droplets his head will be turned away, indirect gaze with his ears back. MOODS

  9. PUPPIES • A female dog can give birth to a litter of 6-10 puppies also a female dog can give birth to 2 litters in one year. When a puppy is born its eyes and ears are both shut . The eyes and ears will continue to grow outside the womb. After 10 or 18 days the puppies’ eyes will start to open. Ears begin at approximately at the same time. At birth, the ears have no visible opening, but you can see the ear canal beginning to develop after 10 days or so.
