  2. Start LANspectre PRO • Connect the instrument to your Ethernet network • Press Power On for 3 seconds

  3. Enter the Scan menu • Press right arrow to enter Scan-menu

  4. Scan the network • Press Enter to start scan

  5. Result from Scan • Move up/down to select units • Press right arrow to choose

  6. Result from Scan by type • Move up/down to select unit • Press right arrow to choose

  7. Result from Scan - details • Information about: • Name & Group • Mac-address • IP-adress • Server-services enabled like HTTP, DHCP, FTP • Press right arrow to enter Ping menu

  8. Result from Ping • Press Enter to start ping • LANspectre sends ping to this device and reports about: • Lost package • Response time • Press left arrow to return to previous menues

  9. Units by IP-addresses • Press left arrow to return to previous menues • Press Enter to show IP/Name

  10. LANspectre by browser • For a better overview of the LAN • For documentation of the network • LANspectre still connected and with power on • Type ”lanspectre” in your browser (Explorer, Netscape…)

  12. LANspectre by browser - Database • Print • Save • Edit in Excel or Word A complete database of the LAN • Netbios/SNMP-name • MAC-address • IP-address • Services enabled

  13. Power Off LANspectre • Press red button for five seconds (LANspectre will automatically power off after a period of inactivity – 10 min is default)
