  1. How to find Best Bathing Soap for Face In India for Daily Use for Clean & Healthy Looking Skin

  2. The Importance of Facial Cleansing Washing your face becomes essential because the skin on your face has more sebaceous glands than the skin on other parts of your body. This is why the skin on your face is oilier than the skin on the remaining body. Along with the extra oil on your face, using makeup and other cosmetics can form a film on the skin. This film, in turn, can trap pollutants in the air like dust, dirt, debris, and cigarette smoke. Thus, a good soap for the face becomes crucial to keep your skin clean. Washing your face with water alone will not clean the residues on your face. To maintain the health and glow of the skin on your face, make sure to wipe off all the makeup from your skin before washing your face. Wash your face twice daily with soap for the face – once in the morning and once before bedtime.

  3. Being Gentle is Key You may be tempted to scrub your face excessively to remove all the dirt and grime from it. But, this will do more harm to your skin than good. The skin on your face is extremely delicate. The topmost layer of the skin on your face, the stratum corneum, has fewer cell layers than any other body part. This thin layer results in the facial skin getting easily irritated. It is essential to note that over-scrubbing or harsh soap can dry the skin excessively and cause the oil glands on the face to produce even more oil to keep the skin hydrated. If you have acne-prone skin, your condition could worsen due to improper handling of the skin. Hence, it is imperative to choose the best soap for the face.

  4. How Does Soap Work on the Skin? Soap for the face and other facial cleansers are formulated to remove dirt, sweat, sebum, and oils from the skin. They do so with the help of chemical agents called surfactants which • Surround and dissolve the dirt and oil, making it easier for water to wash them away • Remove dead skin cells from the epidermis (the outermost layer of the skin) • Bind with and over-hydrate healthy proteins, making them swell with excess water This swelling allows the soap ingredients to penetrate the deeper layers of the skin. While this might sound desirable for a deep clean, it may affect the skin's natural barrier function. This may, in turn, lead to redness, dryness, and irritation of the skin.

  5. The Effects of Conventional Soap Conventional soap ingredients include a combination of oils (animal fats), alkalis (lye or sodium hydroxide), and liquid (water). All the ingredients are brought together through the chemical process of saponification. While the lye triggers it, the final product does not contain any of its harshnesses. Conventional soaps also include harmful additives like artificial colors, synthetic fragrances, preservatives, etc., that can adversely affect the health of our skin. However, some modern versions of best soaps for skin and best bathing soaps contain skin-friendly ingredients like vegetable oil, olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil, essential oils, and fruits and nuts. Though washing the face with conventional soaps is not entirely bad, many skin experts do not recommend it. Conventional soaps contain surfactants which can affect your skin in the following ways: • Cause dryness, redness, and irritation • Strip away the skin's lubricating and protective oils (natural moisturizing factor( NMF) while removing dirt and impurities • Undermines the skin's natural barrier function When the skin barrier is compromised, toxins, bacteria, and other unhealthy impurities penetrate deep into the skin, which causes long-term harm.

  6. How to Pick the Best Soap for Face There are some things to keep in mind as you look through the aisles of a supermarket for the best soap for skin and the best bathing soap. They are: • Use something suitable for the face: Facial soaps are specially formulated for fragile facial skin. Even the mildest soap for the face can be too harsh on the skin as it may contain harmful fragrances, dyes or abrasive materials that are not recommended for use on the face. Hence, check the ingredients label of the soap to know which soap is best for your skin. • Start with something mild: Use a facial soap that is mild and, and at the same time, gets rid of oil, dirt, sweat and sebum from the face. • Consider your skin type: Each skin type is different, and not all soaps are created equal. So, before applying soap on your skin, make sure that you have one of the best soaps for skin handy. Make sure you select the best bathing soap suitable for your skin type. Different types of skin- oily skin, dry skin, acne-prone skin, and sensitive skin- have different needs. To find which soap is best for the face and suits your individual needs, you must be aware of what to look for.

  7. Here are the guidelines while selecting which soap is best for your face: • Best soap for oily skin (ingredients): Sea Salt, oatmeal, brown sugar, peach pits. • Best soap for dry skin (ingredients): Glycerine, vegetable oils, cocoa butter, aloe vera, coconut oil, jojoba oil, avocado • Best soap for combination skin (ingredients): Clay or charcoal, exfoliants, glycerin, etc. • Best soap for sensitive skin (ingredients): Fragrance-free, color-free, pH balanced Soaps especially formulated for dry or oily skin should not be used for normal skin. Some other harmful ingredients to avoid in soaps for the face include parabens, triclosan, sulfates, etc.
