  1. Best Yoga poses for meditation

  2. Yoga and meditation Yoga and meditation go hand in hand. Through the rhythm of the breath, one concentrates on the unification of the body, mind, soul, and emotions. Both emphasise being in the present moment and letting go of concerns about the past or future.

  3. Top meditative poses • Sukhasana: Back muscles are gradually strengthened, and body posture is improved. It offers calming benefits on the mind and body because it is a meditation stance. It's a good warm-up for more harder contemplative poses. Balances both physical and mental well-being. Helpful in relieving anxiety and stress. • Siddhasana: Siddhasana improves posture by lengthening the spine and opening the hips, chest, and shoulders. This is an excellent position for meditation since you can hold it for lengthy periods of time. It's also a great exercise for increasing hip and groin/inner thigh muscular flexibility.

  4. Vajrasana: It is a basic yoga stance for sitting. The term vajra, which signifies thunderbolt or diamond in Sanskrit, was used to give it its name. Kneel and then sit back on your legs to relieve the weight off your knees in this pose. This position is frequently used for breathing and contemplative activities, and it is supposed to help your body become as strong as a diamond. • Padmasana: Also known as the Lotus pose, is a cross-legged yoga pose that helps to deepen meditation by soothing the mind and treating a variety of physical illnesses. Regular practise of this position, like that of a lotus, contributes in the total blossoming of the practitioner, hence the name Padmasana. The Lotus pose is also known as Vajra posture in Chinese and Tibetan Buddhism.
