  1. Class-1 Notes VEDIC MATHS Speed 1500%. Accuracy. Remove Mathsphobia

  2. Vedic Maths | class1 Page:1 Multiplication with‘1’series Multiplying any double digit no.with 11. Multiplication of1’swith1’s. Multiplying anydouble digit no. with101. ‘1’seriesarethenumber whichhaveonly1’sin them. Skill before degree |Vedic Class1

  3. Vedic Maths | class1 Page :2 1. Multiplying any double digitno.with 11 EXAMPLE: 3 4 X 1 1 3 74 (3+4) EXPLANATION: STEP 1: Write the same no. that we have to multiply with 11 with the same gap in between. In the above example the number is34. STEP 2: In the gap that we have left, we can fill only 1 digit. And this no. will be the sum of both digits of the no. that is to be multiplied with 11. In our example this no. will be 7,[3+4=7] So complete answer is 3 74 MOREEXAMPLES: 18 X 11 1 98 62 X 11 6 82 (6+2) (1+8) Do Yourself 92x11=? 53x11 =? 44x11 =? 78x11=? TRY NOT TO USE PEN- PAPER What if the sum of boththe no. s equals more than9. EXAMPLE: If we have to multiply 6 7 with 11. 6 7 X11 6 3 7 +1 7 3 7 Skill before degree |Vedic Class1

  4. Vedic Maths | class1 Page :3 2. Multiplication of 1’swith 1’s. Case1: Equal no of 1’s multiplicationwith equal noof1’s. EXAMPLE: 1 1 11 X 1 1 11 1 2 3 4 3 21 MOREEXAMPLES: 11 X 11 1 21 Do Yourself 11 x11= ? 111111 x111111= ? 1111111 x 1111111 = ? TRY NOT TO USE PEN- PAPER EXPLANATION: In the above question, we have equal no of 1’s i.e.we have 4 1’s in themultiplier and multiplicand. So in the answer block we willstart writing no. s from 1 uptothe no. of 1’s (here it is 4). And later go backwardstill 1. MOREEXAMPLES: 1 1 1 1 1 X 1 1 1 11 123454321 Skill before degree |Vedic Class1

  5. Vedic Maths | class1 Page :4 2. Multiplication of 1’swith 1’s. Case2: Unequal no of 1’s in the multiplicandand multiplier. MOREEXAMPLES: 1 1 11 X 11 1 2 2 21 EXAMPLE: 1 1 1 11 X 111 1 2 3 3 3 21 DoYourself 111 x11= ? 111111 x111= ? 1111111 x1111= ? TRY NOT TO USE PEN- PAPER EXPLANATION: Inthisquestion,multiplicand has 5 1’s and multiplier has3 1’s. so the difference of no.of 1’s is 2(5-3=2) Now in the answer blockwe will start writing no.s from1 and will go upto the no. of lesser 1’s i.e. 3 her. Andwe also knowthedifference of no. of 1’s that is 2. So this no3 will be repeated 2 more times. And then go backwardstill 1. MOREEXAMPLES: 1 1 1 1 1 X 1 1 11 12344321 Skill before degree |Vedic Class1

  6. Vedic Maths | class1 Page :5 3. Multiplying anydouble digit no. with101. MOREEXAMPLES: EXAMPLE: 1 01 X 56 5 6 56 101 X 11 1 1 1 1 Do Yourself 101x57=? 101x27=? 101x48=? TRY NOT TO USE PEN- PAPER EXPLANATION: In these questions,in the answer block we have to write theno. 2 times which weare multiplying with101. MOREEXAMPLES: 1 01 X 39 3 9 39 Skill before degree |Vedic Class1

  7. Vedic Maths | class1 Page :6 Summary of what welearned inthis. 1: Multiplying any double digitnumber with11. 2:Multiplicationof1’s with1’s. 3: Multiplying any double digitnumber with101. Skill before degree |Vedic Class1
