Online Application • ASBCS capable of accepting applications electronically • Still requires a paper submission with original documents • Both online and paper submission comprise a complete application package • Complete application package must be submitted by the deadline: July 2, 2010 at 5:00 P.M. MST
Access to the Online Application • Link on ASBCS website: ASBCS Online • Register to set up an account • Current Charter Reps should email and request login information charterschoolboard@asbcs.az.gov
Navigating the Application • Best to read the Application Instructions first • Located in Help files at top of each page • Also located on the ASBCS website • Table of Contents • On right on each application page • Identifies each section of the application • Instructions and evaluation criteria for each part of the application • Uploads
Uploading Information • Uploads for almost every part • Prepare documents accordingly • Templates for some uploads in Help files • Single and multiple uploads • Save, save, save
Single Uploads • Can replace a document by uploading again • Must click “Save and Continue” button or “Save and Return to the Dashboard” button to save the document to the application • Can wait until ready to exit the page to save
Multiple Uploads • “Add a new attachment” • Brief description box for naming documents • Must click “Add Attachment” • Must click “Save and Continue” button or “Save and Return to the Dashboard” button at bottom of page to save the document to the application
Managing Your Application • Once started, manage through Submission Status tab • When ready, click “Submit to ASBCS” button • Once submitted, continue to follow review process through Submission Status tab
