  4. What Is MBOX • MBOX is a file that is used to store email messages in simple and plain format. It is used by Mozilla thunderbird, Apple Mail, and other email providers to store all the emails in one file. But it does not support MS Outlook therefore conversion is required.

Step-3: Connect Gmail to Thunderbird • Open Mozilla thunderbird • Go to settings left lower corner • Go to account settings, click on account actions then select add mail account option • Enter your name and your gmail credentials and select continue option • Continue with imap • A pop-up window will appear, verify your gmail account • Click on finish • Step-4: Now create a new folder under the Gmail-Thunderbird account • Drag and drop your email in it. • Step-5: Connect Gmail to Microsoft Outlook • Open Microsoft Outlook  • Go to file>add account • Enter your email address and verify it with Gmail passwords or app passwords. • Click on finish, and your Gmail account is synced with Microsoft Outlook.
