  8. TIPD VIP: Neighbors Helping Neighbors The monthly meeting is held the last Monday of every month— Support and attendance continue to grow every month!

  9. TIPD Volunteer Program The TIPD Volunteer Program officially kicked off March 2016. As of June 30th, there are 29 Active TIPD Volunteers.

  12. SPO Dascall and Lt Randolph Walk a Mile in Her Shoes for Rape Crisis Center Officers participate in the Savannah Mile to benefit the 200 Club of the Coastal Empire

  13. SPO Dascall and City Marshall Toole are recognized for their service. SPO Dascall was also awarded the Officer of the year by the American Legion. Police and TIPD Volunteers at the YMCA Healthy Kids Day

May Statistical Breakdown • Property Maintenance Notices Issued – 26 • Property Maintenance Re-Checks – 9 total (5 brought to code) • Property Maintenance Citations Issued - 5 • Temporary Sign Violations – 15 • Trash Container Violations – 3 • Commercial Dumpster Violation – 5 • Southend Trash Compactor Agreement Established • Working without Permit Violation – 5 • Operation of Business w/o License – 2 • Special Event Permit Violations – 4 – (2 Cited for OC) • Short Term Rental Settlement – 1 (paid in full) • Hotel/Motel Violations – 3 (2 have paid in full)

June Statistical Breakdown • Trash Container Violations – 16 • Yard Waste Violation - 2 • Dumpster Violations - 4 • Temporary Sign Violations – 11 • Property Maintenance Violations – 7 • Property Maintenance brought to code – 9 • Operating business without license – 3 • Hotel/Motel Tax Violation – 2 • Noise Ordinance Violation – 1 • Work without permit Violations – 4 • Conducted Final Request for Sidewalk Sales with Southend Business (forms were due April)

June Statistical Breakdowncont’d • Soliciting Violation – 2 (kayak rental @ Alley 3) • Abandoned Boat recovered from Alley 3 • Parking Lot Inspections conducted – 2 written warning issued • Parking Complaints – 3 (1 Citation issued) • Public Safety Concern – 13 10th Street Fence, issue is being resolved

July Statistical Breakdown • Trash Container Violations – 23 • Yard Waste Violations – 4 • Temporary Signs Removed - 8 – (1 banner for Hot Sushi, 3 Speed Limit signs posted on 14th) • Work without Permit Violations – 1 • Sidewalk Permit Violation – 1 (2 Citations Issued) • Soliciting/Peddler Violations – 3 • Parking Citation Issue – failure to pay (subject has been sent subpoena) • Completed Hurricane Preparedness plan for Tybee Island Police Department
