    2. Diazir Full Contour Zirconia Diazir Full Contour Zirconia provides the accuracy fit and precision you demand as a new alternative to any PFM or full-cast metal restoration. It is uniquely formulated to mimic the beauty of nature along with providing outstanding strength. Outstanding Marginal Fit Exceptional Strength: =900 Mpa Conventional Cementation

    3. Benefits of Full Contour Zirconia vs. Other Ceramic Restorations Conservative preparations Extremely strong and reliable Esthetics and translucency have improved Wear potential is becoming better understood Feather Edge

    4. Features of Diazir Full Contour Zirconia Strong and Durable Forgiving – reduced thickness and feather edge Biocompatible Wear compatible Preshaded system for better esthetics Can achieve any of the 16 Vita A-D shades as well as bleach shades

    5. Competitive advantages of Diazir shading system and preshaded zirconia powders Pre-shaded high translucency discs Eliminates white spots after adjusting Shades/stains/glaze applied after sintering Eliminates need for handling very acidic coloring liquids Fewer steps provide more predictable results Fine-leucite glaze for lower wear Patent pending for shading system Processing method saves time No drying under heat lamp Less application time for shades/stains

    6. Competitive advantages of Diazir shading system and preshaded zirconia powders Pre-shaded high translucency discs Shades/stains/glaze applied after sintering

    7. Competitive advantages of Diazir shading system and preshaded zirconia powders Processing method saves time

    8. Diazir Glaze: high fusion, low solubility, wear resistant due to fine leucite. Solubility – 11 mg/cm2 vs ISO6872 limit of 100 mg/cm2 Fine leucite displaying wear studies to have lower wear as shown by Dr. Suzuki (UAB) Excellent bond to zirconia Can be applied to polished surface

    10. Process of Diadem 24 Hours $10 more but customer doesn’t have to buy scanner$10 more but customer doesn’t have to buy scanner

    12. Indications Full contour posterior crowns, bridges, inlay & onlays Alternative option for metal-occlusal PFMs & Full-cast metal restoration Ideal for bruxers and implant cases Minimal occlusal reduction (.5mm) Contraindications: Clinical cases in which the minimum material thickness and preparation design parameters cannot be met.

    13. Preparation Design Preparation should follow the anatomy of the tooth, providing at least the minimum thickness required for the restoration. A 1.0 mm axial and occlusal reduction is considered ideal for full contour zirconia restorations.

    14. Preparation Design A definitive finish line is recommended. All sharp edges and line angles should be rounded.

    15. Adjusting If adjustments to the zirconia restoration is necessary, it is recommended to use only grinding instruments indicated for zirconia. When grinding use little or no pressure to reduce heat which can cause fractures to the zirconia. Always use water during grinding to keep restorations cool. Recommended grinding instruments are available from manufacturers such as Axis®, Komet® and Brasseler®.

    16. Polishing To ensure minimal wear to the patient’s opposing dentition, it is necessary that all Diazir Full Contour Zirconia restorations have a smooth surface, whether polished or glazed. If any anatomical adjustments are made on the restoration by the dentist, the surface must be polished using polishing systems developed to finish zirconia to maximum surface smoothness. Recommended polishers are available from manufacturers such as Axis®, Komet® and Brasseler®.

    17. Conventional Cementation

    18. 18 Self-adhesive cement to be used with conventional cementation SpeedCEM is available in three shades with different levels of translucency: 3 Shades: transparent, opaque, yellow Cementation

    19. Preparation of Ceramic (Surface Treatment)

    20. Prime with Monobond Plus

    21. Simply Clean Preparation (Etchants & Bonding Agents are NOT required.)

    22. The prepared tooth is cleaned prior to cementation

    23. Application of SpeedCEM Cement

    24. SpeedCEM is applied directly into the restoration

    25. Excess is removed by means of the “Quarter” technique Cement is light-activated per aspect for 1 sec

    26. Excess is removed in the visco-plastic state

    27. Final Restoration

    28. Adhesive Cementation Adhesive cementation for additional bond strength. Great for prep designs not indicated for conventional cementation

    29. Multilink® Automix One system for all cementation cases High immediate bond strength for all types of restorative materials.

    30. Multilink® Automix One system for all cementation cases Self-curing luting composite with light-curing option for the universal cementation of indirect restorations. Conditioning of dentin and enamel with self-etching and self-curing Multilink Primer A/B Strong bond to all restorative materials with Monobond® Plus 3 Shades: White Opaque, Yellow, Transparent

    31. Preparation of Ceramic (Surface Treatment)

    32. Prime with Monobond Plus

    33. Conditioning Preparation (Etching & Bonding Dentin/Enamel)

    34. Application of Self-Etching Primer Scrub mixture of Multilink Primer A/B for 15 seconds on dentin (30 seconds on enamel). Thoroughly air-dry to evaporate all water.

    35. Application of Multilink Automix Cement

    36. Dispense Cement into Restoration Dispense the desired amount of Multilink Automix “Easy” directly into the restoration.

    37. Seat Restoration Seat restoration and maintain pressure.

    38. Pre-cure Excess Cement Expose excess cement to curing light for 1-2 seconds from each quarter surface, obtaining a gel-like consistency.

    39. Using a scaler, easily remove excess cement. Easy Removal of Excess

    40. Final Cure Light cure for 20 seconds from each side.

    41. Post Op Final restoration.
