  2. Frequently Ask Questions • On the Time and Labor Module, will you be able to record multiple work periods? Example: • Worked from 8:00 – 10:00 • Went to Class • Worked 1:00-3:00 • Yes, click the ‘+’ button and enter your additional time of work.

  3. Answer: • Yes, you can click the ‘+’ button and add multiple times for one day.

  4. FAQ • Will I have access to Define after September 1st? • There will be approximately 30 users on campus with access to Define on September 1st. There will be someone to give you information from Define if you need it.

  5. FAQ • Will employees be entering their own time off? • Yes, employees will enter their own leave time. PeopleSoft has workflow, which means their leave will be sent to their manager for approval.


  6. FAQ • Will there be a need or ability to print split screens or ½ screens on one page? • Yes, you can maximize the PeopleSoft screen, then on your keyboard click ALT/PrntScn, then right click your mouse and paste your screenshot.

  7. FAQ • If you want to multi-task, can you open multiple times using same login or do you have to have separate login for each open ap? • You can have multiple pages open at the same time in PeopleSoft. Using myUTTyler, you can log in to PeopleSoft and all the modules you have access to will appear. Each module will have a tab at the top of the screen (HR, Financials, Student Services).

  8. FAQ • Will documents go through same approval steps after admins create them? • The documents will go through Work Flow for approvals.

  9. FAQ • Will we be given a hard copy of our new accounts and structure and they correlate to the old DEFINE accounts/cost centers? • Yes, there will be some type of document that will walk from PeopleSoft to DEFINE.
