  3. Internet Explorer Information Bar You'll see the Information Bar when a Web site tries to: •Install an ActiveX plug-in on your computer. •Open a pop-up window. •Download a file to your computer.

  4. Active X Plug-in Example • Java & Flash are a few common plug-ins. • Right click on the Info Bar and choose “Install”

  5. Pop-up Example • TIP: Holding down the CTRL key will temporarily disable the popup blocker or right click on information bar and choose “Temporarily allow Pop-ups”

The above example is "Bonzi Buddy" ... this friendly little monkey is actuallyvery bad.  He watches where you go on the web and reports it back to hiscompany and then gives you advise on what to buy based on what websites you go to. He can also give you lots of nasty pop-ups.
