  1. Theories of Experience and Interpretation • This is heavy stuff--blinds guys and elephant • All experience is understood from a perspective • ex. Giving directions • Phenomenology--study of phenomena • Phenomena--events experienced consciously

  2. Interpretation • Interpretation same as Hermeneutics • Hermeneutics is the study of how people understand things by interpreting them consciously • Classic Phenomenology.--find the real “reality” • Bracket something
