On the paper, answer these questions using the map below: • What type of climate does this region of the world experience? • What religion do most of the people in this part of the world follow? • Which geographic features had a great impact on life in this region?

  3. Geography of Arabia • The Arabian Peninsula has a hot, dry climate. • Bodies of water have played an important role in the history of Arabia.

  4. Rivers of Arabia • Arabian rivers allowed people to trade, travel, grow crops, and catch fish. • The most important rivers of this region are the Nile, the Tigris, and the Euphrates.
