Progress in March • Completed documents for the review • Wrote a purchase package for the LAr pumps for CD-3a • Started 3-D model of cryogenic system in the enclosure
Comments from the review • Fix discrepancies between BOEs and schedule • Write a purchase package for the cool down heat exchanger, independent review of the specification • Independent review of the ODH analysis • Finish the 3-D model • Get more engineering for the Cryogenics task
Cool down heat exchanger • Couldn’t contact the vendor before review to get a 3a purchasing document done • Finally did get an answer from them • Also contacted other vendors and getting more quotes • Will have a 3a procurement package with multiple quotes before next review
Add additional engineering • PPD has approved a requisition to hire a contract engineer for one year on MicroBooNE • MD has given me another engineer who is just finishing work on DES • Bob Sanders should be available ~ full time by about May 2 • We should have plenty of engineering to get the work for CD-2 done on time
