The Achieving the Dream Financial Literacy Program at Los Angeles Harbor College promotes financial education and empowerment among 9,000 students, including foster youth and veterans. Designed by Eric Romero, the program offers workshops on debt reduction, loans, and insurance, fostering financial knowledge. With a focus on inclusivity, it targets 52.3% Hispanic, 16.9% White, 15.5% African-American, and 13.6% Asian/Asian-American students. Through community engagements and collaborations, we aim to enhance financial literacy and job readiness skills for future success.
