  2. MINDORO • Came from the words: MINA DE ORO. • MA-AL ANG is the oldest name given to Mindoro. • The islands of Mindoro can be found 25 miles from the end of Southern Luzon. • Right now, those who are living in Mindoro are Christianized Filipino Lowlanders and a few ethnic groups.

  3. HanunuoMangyans HanunuoMangyans can be found within the territorial jurisdiction of the towns of Mansalay and San Pedro (Bulalacao) along the periphery of Southeastern Mindoro. Their population is approximately 66,132. Hanunuomeans true, real, or genuine. Music of Mindoro
