  1. Information Extraction and Multimedia Group Dept. of Computing, School of Electronics and Physical Sciences, University of Surrey Pensiri MANOMAISUPAT Terminology for Information Extraction Application Terminology concerns the study to understand behaviour between terms and how to use abstract concept to organise terms in a specific domain. Terminology was mainly used for translation, but my research is to use terminology for information extraction in arbitrary domains. This involves building a terminology database (TDB) to organise terms, to represent relationship between terms and concepts in a given domain.TDB was designed following the International Organization for Standardization ISO 12620-computer applications in terminology--data categories. • Publications • K.
