  7. #6 Alcohol Continued • The legal age for alcohol consumption or possession is 21. • Unlawful Consumption or Unlawful Possession of alcohol by a minor is a Class A Misdemeanor. • Punishable by up to $1000.00 fine and 1 year in jail. • Some Statistics: • Sexual Assault/Rape • An estimated 90% of date rapes occur when either the victim or attacker was drinking. • If a person has had too much to drink or is on drugs they can not legally give consent to have sex.
