  6. Resources & Information Oshawa • 35 Dedicated client computers • Full Time Resource Support Person • Client Centric Workshops • Extended Hours • 8.30 a.m.- 8:00 p.m. Mon – Thurs • Basic Computer Training – evening hours • Employer Resources • Referrals & Information

  7. Service Plan • Needs Assessment • Development of Tailored Return to Work Service Plan to assist clients in meeting their employment objectives • Referral to other E.O. Services or other community/ Government Services • On-going follow-up & Support

  8. Job Retention • May be part of Client’s Service Plan • Benefits clients • with poor work history • lack of Canadian Work Experience • other • individual & Group Counselling

Job Matching Placement • Benefits Job Seekers that cannot compete in a competitive Market • 3-Full time dedicated job developers actively soliciting employment opportunities • Training Incentive for Employer ($2-2,500 average) • Training can be on the job or formal (off-site) • On-going support intervention based on client need

  10. Participant Support • Up to $500.00 to remove barriers to employment • Can be used for • Required Clothing • Transportation • Credential Assessment • Licensing • Other

  11. Second Career • Assistance • with Career Exploration • Researching LMI • Completing Application Forms • Application Submission to MTCU • Assistance with Job Search following training

  12. TIOW • Needs Assessment & Development of a Return to Work Service Plan • 25 hours a week for four weeks on-site career exploration, job search strategies, in-house training • Off-site training when required • Access to job development & training incentives
